Levante UD acknowledges the trajectory of 12 youth players after a decade at the club
Seven youth academy players and five female youth academy players received recognition for a decade as Granotes.
Levante UD has given special recognition to the trajectory and commitment of 12 youth academy players who have spent a decade as part of the club. With this tribute, the club aimed to highlight the loyalty, effort, and dedication of these young footballers who have completed ten years of sporting and personal growth wearing the granota jersey.
This emotional institutional recognition took place during the celebration of the 2nd Anniversary of the Levante UD Business Club, a corporate event held last night at the Ciutat de València Stadium facilities.
During the event, the importance of the youth academy as one of the club's main pillars was emphasized. The work carried out in both the male and female academies was highlighted, underlining the effort, discipline, and resilience of the players who are part of it.
The tribute was attended by the president of Levante UD, Pablo Sánchez, accompanied by the heads of the male and female academies, Joaquín Navarro and Vicente Mora, who were also responsible for presenting the recognitions.
The youth academy players recognized for their decade-long association with Levante UD were Joan Durá Requena, Pau Calvo Martínez, Edgar Alcañiz Baldoví, Salvador Brull Francés, Nacho Pérez Gómez, Alejandro Primo Hernández, and Xavier Grande Sánchez, who could not attend the event as he was abroad but wished to be present through a message addressed to the attendees.
From the female academy, the tribute was received by Nerea Marco Valiente, Erika Rubio Camacho, Alma Velasco Heim, Carolina Marín de la Fuente, and Tania Sánchez Romero, who are also examples of a career marked by commitment, growth, and loyalty to the colors they wear on their jerseys.
As a memento of this recognition, the club presented all the honorees with a commemorative frame and an armband with the message "Captain of the granota pride, for their 10 years at the Levante UD Academy", in gratitude for their dedication and Levante spirit throughout these years.
