Levante UD recovers its origins for LALIGA's Retro Matchday

The club presents an unprecedented historic edition inspired by the Cabanyal Football Club. A collector's item numbered and limited to 1,000 units. Levante UD has prepared a document with all the information and photos of the campaign that you can download at this link. 

Levante UD joins the historic initiative of the LALIGA Retro Matchday with a proposal that transcends aesthetics. Under the slogan "It's not retro, it's roots", the granota club unveiled today the special kit that the first team will wear on Matchday 31 (corresponding to the weekend of April 12) at the Ciutat de València against Getafe CF.

This initiative is part of an unprecedented milestone in European football: from April 10 to 13, the LALIGA EA SPORTS clubs will wear kits inspired by their past under the concept "42 legacies, 42 ways to win". A global showcase that even includes the refereeing body with special designs and places our identity at the center of the cultural conversation, reinforced by the official presentation of the collection at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid and that you can watch in this video.

True to the origin of 1907

This jersey is not just another reissue; it is a journey to the starting point of our history. For the first time in its trajectory, the club recaptures the essence of the Fútbol Club Cabanyal, a team founded in 1907 in the heart of "El Riuet" and the precursor of what we now know as Levante UD.

The kit has been designed seeking the absolute purity of the early 20th century. Crafted in an elegant off-white that evokes the original fabrics, it stands out for its iconic black band crossing the chest, an element used by the pioneers of Cabanyal to distinguish themselves on the sandy and salty playing fields.

In an unprecedented exercise of historical respect, both the Macron logo and the Levante UD crest have been technically integrated into the garment, but remain practically invisible to the eye. The goal: to maintain visual cleanliness.

A numbered collector's item

Given the exclusivity of this historical stage, which has never before been reissued by the club, the jersey is presented as a cult object for fans:

• Limited Edition: only 1,000 units will be available for sale.
• Unique Identity: each jersey comes with an individually embroidered and numbered tag.
• Special Packaging: the garment will be delivered in a commemorative box that includes a postcard with the original photograph of FC Cabanyal from 1907.

Starting tomorrow, March 20 at 10 a.m. and until the day Levante UD plays against Getafe, Levante UD season ticket holders will have absolute priority to acquire this historic piece through an exclusive presale in our online store.

From the day Levante UD plays against Getafe (weekend of April 12), it will also be available for sale at the Tenda Granota and to the general public until stocks last. The delivery of this jersey will take place during the week of April 6, prior to the match against Getafe.
