The coaches and captains of Levante UD and Valencia CF star in an event prior to the derby

Levante UD and Valencia CF have held a joint event as a prelude to the derby that will take place this Friday at 9:00 PM at the Camp de Mestalla. Coaches Julián Calero and Carlos Corberán, along with captains José Morales and José Luis Gayà, posed at the venue of the match, highlighting the excitement with which they approach such a special game for the Valencian fans and the entire city.
During the event, the Levante coach highlighted the career of his Valencia CF counterpart, whom he had not yet met. “We had spent our whole lives in the world of football, but in different realms within football. It is a pleasure to share this moment and to compete, each of us focusing on our own side,” he stated.
The Levante captain, José Morales, assured that for the Levante team, “it is a special match” and acknowledged that “we are eager to compete in it.” Furthermore, the Levante captain admitted that they do not want to miss the opportunity to achieve their first victory at Mestalla: “The team has not yet managed to win in this stadium and we have the opportunity to make history. With that determination, we have been working since the previous match preparing to compete, show our personality, and continue competing as the team has been doing away from home.”
The player also highlighted the importance of the points at stake for both teams. “These are three points you play for against the city rival, and the importance of these three points in the derby for us and for them will make it so that we can make our fans enjoy it,” he indicated.
