Marta Sanadri already knows what it feels like to score in an official match wearing the Levante UD jersey, as she did so twice in the 1-6 victory against Elche CFF in the first round of the Copa de SM la Reina. The Basque forward reflected on the team's performance at the Diego Quiles and is now looking ahead to the first league match against Alhama CF.

Levante UD convincingly overcame their first official challenge of the season against the team from Elche, securing their place in the next round with great offensive efficiency. "The team played a very serious match. We needed to start this competition with the best feelings, and I think we did that," said Sanadri. 

The forward also played a key role with two goals, a contribution she celebrated after helping the team secure their qualification. "Very happy to contribute whatever I can on the field. We have to keep going like this," expressed the ‘22’ from Levante, who also acknowledged that the team could have extended their lead even further: "I think we could have scored even more." A clear sign of the team's ambition and hunger for goals. 

The only downside of the match came after the restart, when Elche CFF found the back of the net following a defensive lapse. "We wanted to keep a clean sheet, but well, in a small lapse, they scored against us. But this helps us learn and improve for the future," the player assured. 

Levante UD will find out this Friday who their opponent will be in the second round of the Copa de la Reina. Sanadri approaches the draw with confidence that the team can compete against any rival and highlighted the group's character: "We will try to play our game, no matter who we face. We can compete against any team. This team has a lot of soul."

Now, onto the league debut

Advancing to the next round now leads to the first league match, which will take place this Sunday against Alhama CF, a challenging opponent with similar objectives. Levante UD will travel to Murcia with the confidence gained from this Copa debut and the intention of maintaining their positive momentum: "This helps us for the weekend, where we have a very important match, the first of the league. We will go to Murcia with everything."
