Roger Brugué has addressed the media in the press room of the Ciutat de València Stadium. The player spoke, among other topics, about how the team is approaching the final stretch of the season, his physical condition, and the key role of the fans.

The Levante UD number '7' is clear that the team must focus on themselves to face the last four matches of the league competition. “If we do our job, we depend on ourselves. We must not look at our rivals because that drains us and makes us lose energy that we need to put on the field. Some will win, others will lose, but the most important thing is that we win because right now we are in the relegation zone, and if we want to get out, we have to win,” he commented. Therefore, his goal is clear: “To win on Friday and take a step forward.”

On a personal level, Roger Brugué acknowledges that he feels ready and in top physical condition to help the team, having recovered from the knee surgery he underwent last January. “I feel perfect, I have trained to be in good shape, and if the coach puts me in the starting lineup, I will give it my all, and if he gives me ten minutes, I will give my all for those ten minutes. I am ready to contribute a lot,” he stated.

Regarding the 12th player, the fans, the footballer expressed his gratitude and his hope that they will continue to be a fundamental support. “I hope to see the Ciutat as always, like in the big moments when they have always risen to the occasion. They have supported us and enjoyed it like we have, and they have been like one of us. When that happens, it’s much easier. I wanted to thank the fans because it hasn’t been an easy year for them, and the truth is that they have always been up to the task. The Ciutat has always been full, and the people cheering. The other day in Vila-real, they welcomed us in an incredible way, and also for them, we are going to give them some joy. We are going to fight together; with them, it’s easier. We’ve seen it in past years, that in important moments we’ve gone hand in hand, and it has worked out well,” he concluded.
