PRESS CONFERENCE | Álvaro del Moral: "It's about continuing to represent our club, the Cup is an incentive for everyone"

Álvaro del Moral has appeared after training before the media in the press conference prior to the second round match of the Copa SM El Rey that Levante UD will play tomorrow against CD Cieza.

The coach spoke about how he has seen the squad in these first days of work. “I see the team taking responsibility that this is everyone's matter. The coach is not the only one responsible. I see a group of self-critical players in the sense that each one knows they have their share of responsibility for the situation we are in,” he commented. Likewise, Del Moral highlighted the team's commitment to turning the situation around: “Since yesterday, the feelings have been very good. The energy has been very good, they are transmitting security, the desire to face the immediate, which is tomorrow, and from there we start to grow.”

Regarding the team that will be seen from now on, Del Moral assured that “we want to be a brave team when we don't have the ball, to have clear ideas with the ball and always in favor of the players' individuality. Our intention in these days is to try to give certain nuances taking advantage of the previous work, which has been good, based on the needs we feel and the players we have available. We believe in them and their abilities.”

Levante UD will travel tomorrow to play the second round of the Copa SM El Rey against CD Cieza. A match that Álvaro del Moral sees as “an opportunity to compete, in a scenario that will not be easy.
