PRESS CONFERENCE | Luís Castro: "It will be a tough match as games against Athletic Club always are"

Luís Castro appeared this afternoon before the media in the press conference prior to the match that Levante UD will play tomorrow against Athletic Club.

The coach spoke about his rival's qualification to the semifinals of the Copa SM El Rey and assured that “the victory in the Cup gives them some peace of mind because they are very close to playing a final and mentally it will give them something extra.” The coach predicts a “tough match as games against Athletic always are.”

Luís Castro wants his players to be “at one hundred percent” because Athletic Club is a team “with a very strong identity that fights for every ball and result. They attack the area a lot with crosses, they make the most crosses in the league, and whenever they go down the wing, they try to cause some damage. You have to be very focused on defending the area.”
