The Ciutat de València Stadium will be the venue, next Wednesday, September 9 at 7:00 PM, for the official presentation of the new arrangements of the Levante UD anthem for symphony orchestra. The work has been carried out by the renowned composer, orchestra conductor, and Levante UD season ticket holder Vicente Martínez Alpuente.

Martínez Alpuente is a great fan of the "granotas" and an internationally renowned figure from a lineage of Valencian musicians — grandson of composer Rafael Martínez Coll. Trained in Spain, Italy, Russia, and Mexico, he has conducted more than 40 professional orchestras in Europe and America (such as the Spanish National Youth Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra of Mexico, or the Valencia Orchestra), has accumulated more than 180 opera and zarzuela performances in venues like the Palace of Fine Arts in Mexico, and is the founder of the platform OnlyConductors. He currently serves as the Artistic Director of the Symphony Orchestra of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo (OSUAEH).

With You in the Distance

The event will include the screening of a short documentary produced by the Mexican university (UAEH) titled "With You in the Distance". This audiovisual piece reflects his daily life leading the symphony orchestra and shows how his deep passion for Levante UD drives him to follow the matches of the team of his life with absolute fervor from Mexico, where he has been residing for approximately a year. This new adaptation strengthens the close connection of the Valencian musician with the "granota" entity, following the success in February 2025 of his work "From Marítim to Vallejo", performed by thousands of musicians on the stadium's field.

The History of the Anthem

After the presentation, a discussion will be held to delve into the club's sonic and historical heritage. The event will feature contributions from Pau Ballester, an international percussion reference, conservatory professor, founder of AMORES Grup de Percussió, member of Capella de Ministrers, and iconic speaker of the Ciutat de València for three decades; and Emilio Nadal, a graduate in Geography and History, journalist, author of various works on the club's history, and head of the Historical Heritage Area of Levante UD since its creation in 2018.
