The Levante UD Footballers Association also kicks off the season with several commitments on the calendar and resumes the activity of its veterans' team after the summer break.

With enthusiasm, camaraderie, and the granota spirit as its hallmarks, the Levante team will once again don their kit tomorrow, Saturday, September 5, at 6:30 PM at the Buñol Sports City to face the Rivera Veterans from Cádiz.

This meeting represents the first step of a course that continues the great competitive and social momentum with which the entity concluded the previous season. In the final stretch of the previous course, the team completed a remarkable series of commitments that began on June 13 with a 1-1 draw against CD Contestano in Cocentaina, in a match captained by Miguel Pallardó where tribute was paid to the Levante youth player Irene Ferri.

Just a week later, on June 20, the Association was crowned champion of the triangular Memorial Nacho Barberá held in Alzira after competing against the host team and Villarreal CF. The charitable highlight of the competition took place on July 4 in Manises with a clear victory against CDJ Manisense, in a match benefiting research on the neurological disorder SYNGAP1.

After concluding the summer events with the celebration of its VI Family Gathering at the end of July in La Pobla de Farnals, the Levante UD Footballers Association embarks on this new phase, reaffirming the commitment of its former players to the club and society, demonstrating that the passion for defending these colors endures beyond retirement from sports.
