The Spain Libre Cup shone once again in a new edition of Portal de Vallejo.

The Spain Libre Cup, which Levante FC won in July 1937, shone again yesterday afternoon in a new edition of Portal de Vallejo. This forum for debate on the centennial history of the Levante entity took place in the Plaza Interior of Nuevo Centro.

"Now what?" was the question floating in the air, boldly inaugurating an exciting debate about the relationship to be established between the Spain Libre Cup and the different entities that make up Levante after its official recognition. Xavi Rius, a member of the Peña Tòtil, Carlos Ayats, a journalist and director of the Levantinista-themed radio program 'Sin Tregua,' and Emilio Nadal, responsible for the Historical Heritage Area of Levante, reflected on the future of this trophy a year after its official recognition by the Royal Spanish Football Federation.

The Cup is already ours, but its effervescence and significance as a legacy for future generations must be maintained. "We have to continue to be proud. And we have to keep fighting for the value of this trophy. It is true that the club is not in the best financial situation, but we are not afraid. We celebrate this Cup 80 years after its achievement. That's hard to match," Carlos Ayats emphasized. His conclusion was clear. "The club has to lead the recognition and history of Levante. I am very excited about the idea of the Levante museum and that the Cup would be there."

Xavi Rius introduced a new variable to extend his projection. "Perhaps the Spain Libre Cup could be displayed in other museums of national football and share this history in other museum settings. We have to look to the future. The economic aspect may weigh, but we must continue to claim this title." How? Ideas crowd Rius's mind. "Perhaps the club could make replicas of the Spain Libre Cup or keychains with this emblem. The Cup could be included in next season's season pass. Awards could be established for the youth academy on dates coinciding with the victory in the final. A reminder could be made at gate 37 of the current Ciutat de Valencia and an event could be held to commemorate the date of the triumph." A symbol of the club's history

The Cup shines as a symbol and as an image that distinguishes Levante UD as a society, but the fight is not over, despite its new status. "This Cup is the symbol of this club. It symbolizes all the values that must be defended and what we are. It cost a lot, it was hidden, and we have recovered it. It shows that we do not let ourselves be defeated and that we know how to fight," Carlos Ayats warned.

Xavi Rius defended the identity of this title. "It is a standard of our club. It reflects the idiosyncrasy of this entity. It was a trophy that we won fairly on the field, but it was hidden for more than 70 years. Now it is part of our record and we must take care of it. It is a mystical element." Emilio Nadal recalled that the Spain Libre Cup "accentuates the value of memory over oblivion" to emphasize that "it is a clear example of historical justice in the recovery of historical events that occurred in a very complicated period of this country's history that time had erased."
