Álvaro del Moral and Levante UD have agreed to extend the contractual relationship that binds both parties until June 2028.

The Levante coach will thus prolong his connection with an entity where he has represented its badge as a player and later as a coach. Del Moral wore the blue and red jersey from 2008 to 2010, achieving promotion to the First Division on June 13, 2010. After hanging up his boots, he returned to Levante UD to begin a new phase, this time as the sports coordinator of the club's international training area. Later, he managed teams in the Granota Academy, and in the 2023/2024 season, he took charge of Atlético Levante UD.

Álvaro del Moral, along with Vicente Iborra, temporarily took charge of the first team on November 30, experiencing his first stint in the top division. A month later, he returned to Atlético Levante UD to continue fighting for the dream of promotion. The Levante reserve team had chances to achieve direct promotion until the penultimate matchday and later fought for it in the playoffs, coming close to reaching the national final.

The coaching staff led by Álvaro del Moral at Atlético Levante UD will consist of Rafa Fernández - assistant coach, Ángel Ovejero – goalkeeping coach, Jairo Bermúdez - fitness coach, Álvaro Máñez – assistant coach, and Pepe Albert – analyst.
