Andrés Fernández appeared before the media this afternoon following his recent renewal with Levante UD. The goalkeeper, delighted with the agreement reached for his continuity, answered questions from journalists in the press room of the Estadio Ciutat de València after the training session.

Last week, Levante UD and Andrés Fernández officially announced the renewal of their commitment for another season, and today the goalkeeper publicly expressed his happiness. "I feel what Buba might feel when moving up to the first team. I feel that I am incredibly lucky to play another year. I think at my age, I'll celebrate every year as if I had moved up from the academy, and I'm super grateful to be able to do it at a club like this, which I think is fantastic," he said with a wide smile, showing his pride in wearing the Levante shirt for another year.

Furthermore, the goalkeeper acknowledged, "I came with the thought that it could be my last season, I came with the intention of enjoying it to the fullest. What I want is to feel my best every day, to be able to contribute. I am someone who tries to take everything with the utmost concentration and help the team, my teammates."

When asked about the reasons for defending the Levante UD badge for another year, Andrés Fernández didn't hesitate to affirm, "It's a great club. The stadium looks beautiful, and the Ciudad Deportiva has good areas to train and have a good day." Likewise, the Murcian goalkeeper highlighted the sense of belonging he found upon arrival: "Within the club, everyone wants to be like a family. There is a feeling of brotherhood among all the workers who are trying to support, help... and you don't see that in all clubs. It's very appreciated when you are a player coming from outside."
