Levante UD and Real Madrid have reached an agreement for the transfer of Carlos Espí. The operation represents the largest sale of a player developed in the Granota Academy in the club's history and confirms the extraordinary potential of the Valencian forward.

Carlos Espí joined the Levante club in the summer of 2022, as a second-year youth player, to strengthen the Juvenil A team in the División de Honor. From the moment he arrived, he became a key player for the team, contributing decisively to a historic season that culminated in the league championship victory. His hard work, talent, and perseverance were rewarded on February 18, 2024, when he made his debut with the first team in the match against Racing Club de Ferrol at the A Malata Stadium.

During the following season, the forward was one of the key players in Levante UD's promotion to the top division, participating in 36 LALIGA HYPERMOTION matches and scoring six goals. Once in LALIGA EA SPORTS, the Valencian confirmed his immense potential and established himself as one of the great revelations of the championship. He was named Player of the Month for March and, at the end of the season, also received the award for Best U-23 Player of LALIGA EA SPORTS. In his first season in the elite, he played 25 league matches, scored 11 goals, and became the top scorer for the Granota team.

Carlos Espí concludes this chapter as a Levante player with a record of 66 matches played with the first team and 20 goals scored. Additionally, during his time at Levante UD, he also fulfilled the dream of wearing the jersey of the Spanish National Team in the U-19 and U-20 categories.

His transfer represents a highly significant operation for Levante UD, as it becomes the largest sale of a player from the Granota Academy in the club's history, reflecting the player's growth and the excellent work done in talent development at the Ciudad Deportiva.

From Levante UD, we want to thank you for every effort, for your commitment, and for the passion with which you have defended this badge from day one. We are very proud to have accompanied you in your growth and to see you take on a new professional challenge. This will always be your home. The Granota family wishes you all the best and the greatest success in this new chapter.
