The president of Levante UD, Pablo Sánchez, has appeared before the media to provide a comprehensive and detailed review of the season's conclusion. The president described the season as atypical on all levels, highlighting the club's collective response to the various scenarios that have arisen in the sporting, social, and economic spheres.

During his speech, Sánchez expressed his deep gratitude to the fans, employees, media, and the Board of Directors, especially emphasizing the role of Pepe Danvila "as the true architect of the current stability of the organization."

Luis Castro stays until 2028

In men's football, the season has been marked by a historic comeback in the top division. After starting the campaign with a change in the coaching staff, the arrival of Luis Castro midway through the season resulted in a remarkable turnaround that achieved the main objective. The club has reaffirmed its confidence in the coach by signing a long-term project until 2028, consolidating a forward-looking strategy that has coincided with the emergence and prominence of young talents developed in the academy. Pablo Sánchez confirmed that this year "the squad has increased in value as players from the academy have stood out, and others who were on loan have proven to be even better than they initially were."

Additionally, the appearance served to announce the farewell of José Morales, "one of the great legends of the organization," a historic player who bids farewell to the club after more than a decade of loyalty and commitment to the badge.

Similarly, the president wished the best of luck to the reserve team, which is about to begin its journey in the promotion playoffs to fight for a higher division.

The women's team is not for sale

The other side of the coin has been represented by the women's section, which has suffered "a painful relegation after a very complex season both in management and on the field, marked by instability on the bench, departures driven by economic criteria, and serious injuries."

Pablo Sánchez has been clear in stating that the women's team is not for sale and that intense work is already underway with the sole objective of immediately returning to the elite. The club seeks to build a sustainable structure, given the unfeasibility of the current model due to low social support in the stands, while also expressing gratitude for "the support of sponsors and loyal fans who have been present throughout the year."

Financial solvency

In the economic and social sphere, the club breathes a sigh of relief after closing the fiscal year with positive figures, managing to reverse a trend of several consecutive years of losses thanks to efficient management. Remaining in the elite ensures significant stability in income derived from television rights, which will allow the club to face the strict Payment Restructuring Plan and debt cancellation with greater guarantees.

Season Ticket Renewal Campaign

Looking ahead to the immediate future, Pablo Sánchez has announced that the next season ticket campaign will kick off in early June, focusing exclusively on the renewal and loyalty of current members.

The president also reviewed the sports results of the youth teams:
