Levante UD Femenino triumphed with efficiency and solidity over Elche CFF in the first round of the Copa de SM la Reina. Nuria Escoms was responsible for opening the scoring, which was extended by Ari Arias, Sanadri, Carol, and Dolores.

The granota team demonstrated at the Diego Quiles that the preseason draw was merely an illusion typical of a friendly match. From the opening whistle, Levante UD came out determined to secure the victory, and the best proof of this was the early goal by Nuria Escoms. In a set-piece play, where Gema Soliveres delivered a precise cross, the Levante '11' controlled the ball and sent it into the net with the tip of her left boot to open the scoring. Just moments later, Dolores Silva, with a shot from the edge of the box, came close to scoring, but Marta Sanadri found the net in the 12th minute. The Basque forward outpaced the local defense and scored her first goal of the afternoon with her right foot.

While Levante UD dominated the scoreboard, Elche CF sought to threaten the goal defended by Coronado by building up play from the back. The granota side allowed the home team to control the ball and gain ground, but their attempts were thwarted by the team's strong defensive work. The same could not be said for the visitors' chances, as before halftime, Ari Arias, after outrunning her opponents, extended the lead with a beautifully executed chip, and Carol Herrera added the fourth with a low shot after driving the ball down the left flank.

After the restart, Elche CF scored a consolation goal, sending the ball into the top left corner, leaving Coronado with no chance. In a subsequent play, the goalkeeper became the star when the home team attempted a long-range shot, which she saved with an impressive hand.

Minutes passed, as did Levante UD's chances, until the granota goal finally came in the second half. A free kick taken once again by Gema Soliveres connected with Inés Rizo, who headed the ball to Sanadri, who completed her brace with a header. The granota team still hungered for more, and in the final moments of the match, Dolores Silva capitalized on a rebound inside the box and put the finishing touch by scoring the sixth goal.

The draw for the Second Round will take place this Friday at 11:00 AM. Two days later, on Sunday, September 13, Levante UD will face a challenging away match against Alhama CF, corresponding to the first matchday of the Primera Federación.
