The Levante UD Women's B team is already making steady progress in the preseason under the guidance of Manu Martínez, a coach with eight years of experience in women's football who takes charge of the granota reserve team after completing a successful three-season stint leading CFF Ciutat de Mislata.

After being part of various projects and achieving two consecutive promotions with the Mislata team, the coach from Albacete is excited to embark on this new chapter at the helm of the granota reserve team: "For me, it’s a dream to be here. The work of many years is done with the goal of reaching this point. I know it’s difficult because sometimes you spend your whole life fighting and don’t achieve this objective," Martínez explained. "Luckily, I’ve been given the opportunity. I understand the responsibility of this project, but this is about ambition, hard work, and making it succeed", he added.

Meanwhile, the team continues its preparation after the announcement of the Segunda Federación schedule. Manu Martínez has expressed satisfaction with the squad's effort during these initial sessions: "The work has been very good. The entire coaching staff is very happy with the players' progress, their involvement, and their commitment."

This progress was already evident in the first friendly match this Wednesday, where Levante UD B defeated Villarreal CF B 9-0 in their second friendly, after facing the first team last week. A result that exemplifies how daily work is starting to pay off. "These friendlies will allow the work we do in training to be reflected in the matches, and from there, it’s about growing and maturing as a team", he concluded.
