The player has attended the media in a press conference.
Jon Ander Olasagasti has addressed the media in a press conference after the training session held this morning at the Sports City.
The player spoke about the victory achieved last weekend against Deportivo Alavés and assured that “it was a vital match for us to be motivated and have the desire that we all believe in, and if we continue like this, we will be fighting until the end.” “Espí's two goals gave us a lot of life to now be much closer, believe that it is possible, and already have the desire to play another match and get the three points,” he stated.
Olasagasti highlighted the team's fighting spirit, not only in matches but also in daily training: “In the last matches, we have always been fighting. We haven't felt inferior, which is also very important to compete well. It also shows in training. We are all very focused, trying to give our best, and that translates to the field. We compete and fight until the last minute.”
Regarding the match next Saturday against Girona FC, the midfielder acknowledged that it is going to be “very difficult because they have a very good style of play, they try to combine very well, and they have players of a very high level.” However, Olasagasti trusts his team, both those who play on the field and those who support from outside. “If we are at our best, knowing that we are at home and with the fans on our side, we can do it,” he indicated.
Finally, the footballer sent a message of optimism: “This is for everyone, both those of us on the inside and those on the outside. We have to push and cheer. We believe, we are united, and that way it will be possible.”
