Pablo Martínez rejoined the group at work yesterday after recovering from the medial collateral ligament injury in his left knee that he suffered during the match against Valencia CF. The midfielder leaves behind several weeks of working on the sidelines and faces this new stage with the excitement of continuing to help the team, this time from within.

The player expressed being “happy to be back in training, enjoy the field, and touch the ball again” after spending a month and a half away from the pitch. The Levante captain admitted that during this time, he experienced the matches from the outside “very poorly, with a lot of nerves, because watching the game from above changes everything completely.” Despite his absence, both Pablo Martínez and other injured teammates have wanted to accompany the team on trips, reflecting the importance of unity in the locker room. “Always with the group, on every trip, whether at home or away, we want to contribute our bit. We also have that important responsibility within. Wearing the armband is not just for the photo, but being with the teammates, traveling with them, helping in every way we can, the younger ones, the veterans, rowing all in the same direction… That’s what we’ve tried to do.”

The Levante captain also analyzed the team’s morale and admitted that “these recent draws hurt us, but in the end, we keep adding points. We have to see the positive side; it’s them who are drawing against us. We have to pay attention to the details because the First Division demands a lot. The locker room has taken it well; we are ready for another final on Saturday.” Additionally, Pablo Martínez emphasized the team’s confidence in their abilities and their commitment to achieving their goal: “The work and the demands are extremely high, and that’s the path we have to follow.”

Finally, the midfielder highlighted the role of the 12th player, the fans, stressing the importance of their support. “They are fundamental for us to keep adding points. At home, we’ve had some good matches, and it’s also thanks to them, so, together on Saturday, let’s go for the victory,” he concluded.
