The "Cent Anys" Levante UD Foundation commemorates the International Day of Persons with Disabilities during the match against Athletic Club with a series of actions before the game. During halftime, as is traditional, the 190 athletes from the adapted sports sections will parade on the field to participate in a group photo and receive applause from the entire stadium.

The Levante UD Foundation will turn the upcoming match against Athletic Club into a platform for inclusion and visibility of adapted sports. As every year, the organization will celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities with a series of actions featuring athletes from both foundations.

Reception and welcome to Xabat Ibarloza and Álvaro Alcácer

Before the match, a very special moment will take place between Álvaro Alcacer, player of Levante UD EDI, and Xabat Ibarloza, athlete from Athletic Fundazioa and guest of honor at this event. Xabat will arrive at the stadium accompanying the red-and-white delegation. Once at the Levante stadium, Álvaro will act as host on a very special tour of the stadium. Additionally, the athletes from both foundations will watch the warm-up of both teams from the pitch, sharing a unique moment on the field of the Ciutat de València.

Placement of the official match ball and highlight moment

And as it could not be otherwise, Xabat and Álvaro will be in charge of placing the official match ball on the pedestal, a symbolic gesture of unity that will inaugurate the day dedicated to inclusion.

All this as a prelude to the highlight moment for both athletes. Xabat and Álvaro will lead the teams onto the field, acting as the first captains of Levante UD and Athletic Club both in the handshake and the coin toss. An unforgettable moment for them that emphasizes the place of people with disabilities in all areas of our society.

Additionally, the youngest members of the Levante Foundation school will also take center stage. Before the kickoff, the Levante starting eleven will pose with the initiation section of the Levante UD Foundation, accompanied by a commemorative banner for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, specially designed for this occasion, creating another unique moment for the youngest members of Levante UD EDI Initiation.

And as is tradition, during halftime, nearly 190 athletes from all adapted sports sections of the Levante UD Foundation will parade on the field to gather for a group photo that symbolizes the club's commitment to diversity, equal opportunities, and sports for all.

In short, a very special day to highlight the value of people with disabilities and promote their full inclusion in our society.
