Dani Gómez, new Levante UD player after transfer agreement with Real Madrid

Daniel Gómez Alcón has signed for Levante UD for the next five seasons, following a transfer agreement with Real Madrid. The forward, born on 30th July 1998 in Alcorcón, has been on loan this season at CD Tenerife, in LaLiga SmartBank, where he completed a great season with 42 games played, 38 in the League and 4 in the Cup, and scored 11 goals, 9 in the domestic competition and two others in the KO tournament.

Following his early training at Real Madrid CF, where he arrived in 2011 from Alcorcón, the striker climbed up through the teams in the Academy until he reached Castilla (B team), where in two seasons he participated in 53 games with 16 goals and 7 assists, and played in a playoff promotion to the Second Division.

Previously his scoring ability was also proved at Real Madrid UEFA U19, with 11 goals in 16 games in his season in Juvenil A, with whom he won the Copa del Rey and the Champions Cup in 2017. Dani Gómez, international in the lower categories of the Spanish Selection, has also participate in pre-season training with the Real Madrid first team under the direction of Zinedine Zidane.


ASISA medical report | Campaña receives medical discharge

José Campaña has received a medical discharge today and it is expected that from tomorrow he will rejoin the squad. We remind you that the midfielder suffered an adhesion rupture a couple of weeks ago following surgery which he underwent in January and in the meantime he has been receiving conventional physiotherapy and rehabilitation treatment.


Travel plan to Vitoria

The Levante squad will travel to Vitoria for the match against Deportivo Alavés at 2pm on Saturday, corresponding to matchday 35 of LaLiga Santander.The team leave on Friday at 19:00 hours in a charter flight from Manises, whilst the return flight is scheduled for 17:45 on Saturday. They will stay at the NH Canciller Ayala Hotel.
