Levante UD joins in the commemoration of International Women’s Day

Levante UD has actively participated in celebrating International Women’s Day during the match that took place at the Ciutat de València this afternoon against Granada CF.

The Levante and Granada players came onto the pitch with 22 players from the Women’s youth teams, who were wearing purple t-shirts commemorating International Women’s Day. They also appeared in the starting eleven team photo.

Likewise, the first team footballers were wearing playing shirts featuring the names of the Women’s first team, as a tribute to all women and particularly to Levante’s female supporters.

Levante UD, as a club that is committed to society, pays special attention to guaranteeing equality in the treatment of and opportunities for women and men at all levels and in all areas of activity within the club.
