The Atlético Levante UD winger has scored in the last two friendlies and faces the final stretch of the preseason with good feelings.
Ethan Sabater has been a key player in Atlético Levante UD's last two friendly matches with his goals against CD Jávea and Torrent CF.
The preseason is allowing Ethan Sabater to regain prominence and confidence. The winger has made the most of the minutes he's been given with two goals in the last friendlies—he opened the scoring in the 2-1 victory against CD Jávea and sealed the match against Torrent CF with the 0-2 goal—, a strong start that is even more significant after a season marked by physical issues. "Last season was quite tough because I had some injuries," explained the player from Gandia, who now feels "very happy."
The work of Atlético Levante UD is also leaving a good impression on a collective level. The team has achieved five victories in the seven friendlies played so far and kept a clean sheet on four occasions, demonstrating great defensive solidity. Ethan has particularly highlighted the team's performance: "Defensively, you can see that this year we are working a lot on it, and we have a lot of quality at the back, which is helping us a lot when it comes to attacking."
The excellent work on the pitch is also reflected in the confidence with which the squad is approaching this new season. Ethan emphasized the work the group is doing and the need to maintain this trajectory because "the results will come." The level of demand has also increased with the additions made this summer: "Teammates of very high quality have joined, and that also helps us compete among ourselves." All of this has fueled the ambition of a squad that, in the winger's words, "is very hungry this season" and is confident that "the objectives will be achieved."
Final test before the league begins
Atlético Levante UD will play their final preseason friendly this Friday at 7:30 PM against UD Almansa. It will be the last test before the league debut against Atlético Saguntino in the second week of September, a match for which the granota reserve team arrives with the confidence gained during these weeks of preparation and with the goal of bringing all their hard work into the competition.
