Levante UD will receive the Free Spain Cup from the Royal Spanish Football Federation next Friday at the match against Zaragoza
The president of the RFEF, Luis Rubiales, will present the Free Spain Cup to Levante UD next Friday before the Smartbank League matchday 34 game against Real Zaragoza to be held at 9:00 pm at the Ciutat de València stadium. Last Saturday official recognition of the title won by Levante FC in 1937 took place at the meeting of the RFEF board of directors. Levante FC prevailed in this competition, played in the middle of the Civil War, by winning the final, staged in Barcelona, against Valencia by a goal to nil. Consequently the club will present the title to all their fans and will pay tribute to the heroes of this historic cup for the oldest club in Valencia.
